Sky+ / HD issues

I had Sky+ installed but instead of a +box the guy gave me a Sky+HD box. I don't subscribe to HD, but my anytime planner is only odffering the HD channels. Is there a way to change this back to the normal channels that I'd get on the older SKy+ boxes? Or am I stuck with not being able to watch anything from the anytime?
Hope someone can help.

Are all your anytime programmes HD?
You could upgrade to Anytime plus. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
I think it's default box now if you take want sky + you get HD box regardless. Just press red to access anytime menu when on program guide.0

We have pressed red to access the anytime, like we used to on our old sky+ box, but it only has HD channels on there. We don't subscribe to HD so we can't actually watch these channels. Is there a way of getting the anytime to have the normal channels?0

I ended up turning off the Anytime facility because of this but also because of the constant 'heartbeat' noise that is supposed to be caused by the Anytime function!

Anytime programmes are downloaded overnight. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
No way of getting the SD downloads on an HD box I'm afraid - if they'd just get rid of the £10 fee for HD it wouldn't be a big deal. I've switched off Anytime because of this.0

Not entirely true, but you have to have Sky broadband and Anytime plus enabled on your HD box. The majority of the content is SD.That gum you like is coming back in style.0
