Ok bear with me I'm on my phone. I'm stumped with a pc issue.
I was having issues with my Bluetooth on my vaio laptop so decided to download and reinstall the official driver off their website. It didn't work though and simply succeeded in crashing the pc and leaving it unwilling to boot or do anything in startup repair.
Fine I thought I have a system image that's about 2 weeks old and a repair disc. So I proceeded with the repair and image restore. All went well until it still refused to boot even after repeating the restore.... I'd rather not reinstall fresh as stupidly I havnt for another backup of my data. Any ideas.....
Oh it just booted..... but restarting it seems to show its hit and miss as to whether it boots or just gets such at the starting Windows screen?

Start in safemode and uninstall any drivers you installed before the problem started.
F8 at post screen to enter the menu to safe mode.0 -
If it is booting occasionally in a bit of a hit/miss manner best bet i'd say would be:
-Get it to actually boot up when its in a 'hit' mood, backup all your important data,
-Check the backup is good.
-Do a fresh reinstall using the disk you already have0
