    Yes, I have a timer, but seem to have been having the heating on constantly over the holidays.
    15 on the stat is usually ok, but its got a bit colder so I have whacked the heating up a bit.
    As Iwrite this, my dial is now on 3 as it goes. :)
    Although I bleed my rads, they never get burning hot.

    There is some form of loose fill insulation, but as 27col suggested it may well be worth me getting more to stuff down.

    I really appreciate your answers to my questions, its a real help.
