Can anyone program a Thyron MPT500?

I own a Thyron MPT500 machine which I use for my business as a market trader to allow people to pay by card. When a receipt is printed it contains my business address, but this has changed.
I contacted Thyron to change this text (3 lines of 22 characters) to my new address, but they wanted to charge me £75.
It was a good job I was sitting down when I found out this ridiculous charge.
So hence I was wondering if anyone knows a way to do this either free or substantially cheaper.

If you do not have the manual, here is a link to it.

As far as I know only they can do it from their end as they programme it in and then you have to turn it on and off and then do an update. Tbh it's a PITA that everything has to be done via them, mine has not worked for months and still they want their monthly fee as I am on a cheap tariff and if I have it cut off, it'll mean I have to go onto a higher tariff.
Vodafone never used to charge for it. £75!! That is shocking!!0 -
There's not much info out there regarding the MPT500. Seems like Thyron have it tied up tight.
I may use Martin's tactic and threaten to leave in favour of Streamline. Years ago a friend had the same machine but used Streamline as their merchant, so I will give them a call first.
Everything was much easier (and 100% cheaper) when Vodafone were in charge !!0
