Have you checked the whois data to see what that is showing?

Go to http://www.whois.net/ and type your domain name in. You should either see your own details in there, or that of the company who registered the name for you. Has the money for the domain been taken out of your account?

ukbill69 is right if someone else has bought it legitimately then it is now theirs. It will be down to registerfly not doing what you paid them to do for which you are not alone http://registerflies.com/ is a site dedicated to nothing but complaints from registerfly's customers.

    basically resgisterfly conned me.

I transfered the domain from one username to the other to have them all on one account. it said it was renewed and now someone else has registered it. the person is now trying to sell it and has one of those advertsing sites up. I had the .com and .co.uk and now am left with the .com.

shame as i was gone create a biz with that domain but gotta think of another now.

    god help

  • Did you actually pay for the renewal on the .co.uk and did they actually take the money? If you have written proof that confirms either then contact Nominet UK (the governing body for .uk Domains and tell them what has happened - https://www.nominet.org.uk). If, however, you did not pay for renewal then I'm afraid you have lost it.

Check with nominet. They regulate all domain transfers for uk domains ie. such as .co.uk
