I know I know...summer is ages away...but this summer just gone I really struggled to find affordable maxi dresses that actually fit me length wise as I'm just a little over 5ft2!
Does anyone know where I could get one?!
Everywhere seemed to sell them for £30 at the lowest last year, and I'd like to get some a little cheaper than that if I can, but being small in height makes it extra hard
Please help! Any help would be great! Otherwise I'll have to get my sewing machine out and attempt to make one somehow?!..xXx

They've always swamped me, and I'm only a little taller than you are. Looks like I'm playing dress up.
Better get the sewing machine out.0 -
glad it's not just me! I was lucky last year I won some debenhams vouchers and I managed to get an expensive one for free...maybe I should enter lots of voucher comps and see if I can get one for free again!0

Have you tried looking in the petite section.
I'm slightly too tall for that, but they're for ladies of 5'2" and under.0 -
You could try ASOS - I bought a maxi dress for £8 today. If you are looking for something summery this is a lovely petite maxi, reduced from £40 to £20:

thanks leelee24, I've never bought from ASOS myself but I shall have a looksie just in case!

Ya should have a look, im a shorty too and know how hard it is to get clothes which actually fit.
Really annoys me to spend a fortune on a pair of jeans to then have to cut a lot of the material off lol. Will not be a fat bride...

oh over the years my mum has taken up many trousers for me! even a dress once for a prom! it's really annoying! I would have a look on ebay, however I don't trust it on there much anymore for clothing as the last few items I got weren't of the best quality
bits were broken & not stated etc...so hoping to grab a shop bargain!

Same lol, my mum had to take in and take my prom dress up bless her, she keeps telling me she will show me how to do it my self but it never happens lol.
Going to end up moving out and bringing all my too "long" trousers for her.
