Hi
I am applying for 2011 social work postgraduate course and none of the NHS/directgov websites seem to say if there will still be a basic grant available. It would help with the budgeting for becoming a student again to find out. Anyone know?
Thanks
Cat

It used to be around £4500 + London weighting pa, but they change the schemes and eligibility so often its hard to guess now. Are you doing the post grad masters or Undergraduate degree? Also the Uni you plan to attend will most likely have a calculator to help you work out a rough guide.Mama read so much about the dangers of drinking alcohol and eating chocolate that she immediately gave up reading.0

Heres an idea of how it works on post grad study - but bear in mind it may have changed again
