Are MBNA and Co-Operative Bank related

Hi there

Im in the process of gathering all my statements etc so I can apply for an IVA. I have opened a new Basic account with the Co-operative Bank for my salary to be paid into. However I noticed on the MBNA giro slip it has Cooperative Bank...

Could someone advise me please??

It just means MBNA bank with the Co-op.

Hi,

I finished my IVA a while ago now.
Please check into any other way round your predicament it is not a way out. Life becomes very difficult and you might as well be a bankrupt!
See the citizens advice before you go down this route.
You will not be free from the debts for a long time and an IVA sticks with you for years.
I have been with the Co-op and they have been a great bank to use as at least you are treated as a human being. Internet and a debit card/atm card at your disposal.
If you need any more advice just let me know.
But please please make sure you are happy to go down this route and have no other choice.
