PC Locking Up

Hi Folks
My PC seems to lock up after about 8 hours reading posts on MSE(anno too much time on my hands),when i turn it off and on again it go backs to the last page i was looking at,it only seems to happen on MSE,OS is W7Ultimate 64 bit with 4gb Ram and I am using Firefox?
