Hi Has anyone had a company called GOGOGY sending chargeable texts to their phone. I have a pay as you go mobile, which i use for emergencies only as i am not working at the moment due to ill health. I never subscribed to this online games or quiz and my mobile no is registered with the tel preference service. As soon as i top up my phone my credit is swallowed up, i have emailed them and phoned them and asked for my money back. I just wondered if anyone else is having this problem. i will l et you know how i get on. Thanks for reading:mad:

How does this relate to parking problems?
Get a new sim.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -

for details of what they are,
GOGOGY is a subscription service, it will cost £4.50 a week, until you send STOP to 80876
so txt stop to 80876
You must have enabled their service somehow.
Text stop to them and then report to OFCOM imho
shame we can't txt stop to a ppc and they would go away0 -
I suspect you texted one of those stupid things on the TV which in the small print says you subscribe for a rip off price per week.0

I feel I have been conned by GOGOGY too. From November 2011 they started taking £4.50 each week from my Pay As You Go account. By the time I noticed they had taken £40.50! I rang them on 0800 4080783 to get them to stop and I asked for a refund. Although they have stopped deducting the £4.50 each week they refuse to reimburse me the £40.50 they stole from my mobile account. They just kept telling me I must have sent a YES text from my mobile phone to start subscribing to their gamboling site. I told them I don't gambol but they have taken no notice. I am the loser here. I am so annoyed with them.0

Sue them in the Small Claims Court. Their cheque will arrive by return. Sometimes you have to show who is boss rather than get scammed.0

But what has this got to do with parking?0

Any chance of a mod moving this thread to the right board - Praise/Vent/Warnings maybe?0

Ring your operator say you are getting calls which are harasing you and threatening you, they usually change your number free of charge
do not mention anything about the texts, just say your getting pervy phone calls. they wont need a police reference number usually0
