Bike insurance claim

Hi guys,

I made a claim on my motorbike insurance early 2009 , would this affect my NCB on my (seperate) car insurance?

Regards

    What was the claim for?

It shouldn't affect your NCB but may load the cost.

    Thanks,

My motorbike was stolen from outside my gf's house, and never recovered.

It won't affect your car NCB.
You can have two NCB e.g. one for car and one for bike.

However it is a "motoring" claim and when you are asked have you had any motoring "claims" in the last 3 or 5 years, then you will have to declare this claim on both your car and bike insurance.
    This may put your premium.
