http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/sony-vaio-vpceb3f4e-wi-white-laptop-07580264-pdt.html
my questions are ..is it worth paying the extra for the better processor and will there be much difference in the speed that i will notice.
im not playing games on it. general internet stuff and mild office stuff along with photo editing
any advice will be grateful as this is the last present i am buying this xmas and this ones for me..lol

personally i cant see it making £130's worth of difference, yes it would be faster but not that much faster for basic usesDrop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)0 -
£529 from dixons http://www.dixons.co.uk/gbuk/sony-vaio-vpceb3j0e-wi-cek-07580330-pdt.html?srcid=369&xtor=AL-63
That said I reckon an idential spec machine not by sony for £504 saves a bit nmore too http://www.ebuyer.com/product/2416100 -
thanks for your reply, it would be £60 extra as i managed to find the 1st option for £539
just dont know if its worth the extra0 -
Doubt you would see much diffrence
I have recommended this http://www.ebuyer.com/product/237739 several times, £379 with bag, same spec as the cheaper one (slightly smaller hard drive)0 -
well i thought i had found a bargain at best buy with the vaio vpc eb3a0j model but 1st its out of stock and 2nd it says the model is a eb2m so i was slightly confused.
i think im swayed towards the cheaper http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/sony-v...80264-pdt.html as from whats being said on here im not going to see much difference.0 -
Yep £469 seems like the stock price for it, id still rather not have a sony badge but £90 and get http://www.ebuyer.com/product/2377390

Quidco have 3% cashback at PCW, so youd get £15 in a couple of months0
