Where to buy a rug?

I want to buy a rug for my living room, but not sure where to look. My budget is around £150. The ones on the shops usually owned by indian people look too cheap and bad quality, and the ones in shops like Debenhams, John Lewis, etc. too expensive!
There seem to be lots online but it's a bit risky without seeing it first.
Anyone knows a shop in Surrey or South London?
Many thanks

Have you tried somewhere like Dunelm Mill, they're pretty reasonable on price for rugs.0

Why not see your local carpet shop and get a carpet made into a rug. That way it can be made to the exact size and colour you want. Most carpet shops provide whipping service which seals the edge.0

I agree, thats where I got a nice big rug for my living room from a few years back. It was the cheapest id seen, and many years on, its still in good shape and will not need replacing any time soon.0 -
Thanks, I've taken a look and they seem to have nice ones, and very reasonable prices.
I've considered going to the carpet shop, but I wanted something colourful with some sort of design, not a plain colour...0 -
