Wifi connectivity for mobiles

Santa finally went for the Tocco lite for my little girl, and the LG GT350 for my boy.
I heard that sometimes, these touchscreen mobiles can connect to wifi, for checking emails and internet, but the instructions do not explain if and how it can be done. Does anyone know or have any experience?

The LG GT350 doesn't have wifi connectivity and I don't believe the Tocco Lite does either so basically, you can't, sorry.0
