Regional settings in control panel0
-
Go into the keyboard section of the Control Panel, select language.
Add English (British) then click on English (United States) and click Remove
You will get a message telling you that English (United States) cannot be removed as it is in use but when you next reboot it will transfer to the UK keyboard layout.0 -
My keyboard has suddenly reverted to US settings. I have looked at regional settings and it says English UK. Is there any other setting that I can look at?Torgwen..........

Sorry, showing off now!
For anyone else who has this prob with XP, after I changed the regional and language setting to uk english, and restarted the pc, 'EN' appeared in the right of the tool bar, and when I clicked on that, it offered me uk or us settings. As someone has already said, when you try to remove the us settings, it says you can't because they're already in use, but when you choose the uk from the drop down menu, and restart the pc, look what happens, @@@@@£££££
