Switching from Storage Heaters to GCH - good recommendations for Feltham, London

I currently live in a 3 bedroom house with 5 storage heaters. There is no gas and central heating (GCH), everything is electric. I have no gas line/main fitted in the property.
I would like to switch to GCH. Can someone please advise on the following:
(1) Who to contact to get a gas connection fitted - a list of good companies or people who you have used yourself in the Feltham or Greater London area would be helpful.
(2) Companies, other then British Gas, who offer boilers and radiator fitting on finance. Which companies should I avoid and which in your personal opinion offer a good overall service and value for money. I know this will vary from person to person but I'm interested to hear all your views to make up my own mind.
