is it the wrong time of year to sell baby clothes that are 'summer' items?
There's someone in my head, but it's not me

i find baby clothes very difficult to sell at the best of times unless in a bundle, why not try to hang onto them until the spring you may get more then

i would leave summer clothes until about april or may
i'm sorting through old winter clothes to get on at the moment, and bits and bobs are selling ok0 -
I'd agree, since the postage charges changed i've not managed to sell much at all
. Wait until the spring to sell summer gear and bundle it. This year I made up bundles of 'designer gear' or wanted gear like Humphrey's Corner with stuff not so much wanted, they sold well but single bit's didn't. Next bundles normally sell quite well I find. I had a load of clothes from Monsoon and Uttam hippy stuff which went really well. Some of the things i've sold I really didn't think i'd get much for and they've sold for loads and vice versa- A brand new Monsoon dress with tag went for 99p"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it may be necessary from time to time to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye."...Miss piggy0

It's well worth hanging onto clothes until the beginning of the relevant season, even if it means they are from an older collection. I think it makes a significant price difference. Hang onto them intil the beginning of the spring but then get them on as early as possible as prices are highest when buyers will get a whole season's wear out of them.
For small baby clothes the babies who will be wearing spring/summer stuff aren't even born yet so I think it would be a mistake to list them now. Once you get into the swing of things you should have a little stash to sell at the start of every season (assuming these are your own child's clothes). I like to reinvest my profits in that season's clothes for my own lot and am now so sad as to buy with an eye to what will resell.0 -
I would have agreed with the above but i have oddly found the opposite as a buyer. I have been looking and the BNWT stuff for summer for my little girl and it seems to go like hotcakes and alot of the winter stuff doesnt. Saying that it might just be my bad luck! lol!Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0

put it all on now!! I will buy it as it will be cheap and no one else will want it and I get a bargain!! ....yeh kidding!! I av got some baby clothes to sell!! Best thing to do is take photos, put onto turbo lister, put the bundle to the back of the cupboard in a carrier bag and put a note in the note section on turbo lister saying ' in back of cupboard'
