What exactly does this mean? Are you not going to live long enough to do it again? Or are you just trying to add to the drama?

I wish there was a smiley on here with a hand moving back and forth and as if grasping a sausage
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

GH - once in a lifetime because we will never be able to afford over 4 grand for a 2 night holiday ever again - we were lucky enough to recieve inheritance whilst my kids were at a prime age for this trip and decided this would be a really special way of spending it.
yes there were those on the trip who are well off and whilst that is not the point, but the money might be less of an issue for them.
another lady was a single mum, childminder and had really scrimped and saved for 18months to take her 2 kids to lapland - she went home in tears from luton as the stress and tiredness had given her youngest a temperature and he just couldn't cope.
yes it might sound dramatic but it is not said for effect, i wish i could describe the disappointment we feel.

sorry bout the rant - my i was initially just asking if anyone knoew if or what grounds i could approach espirit with for compensation - i'm not even going to bother with easyjet as the contract was not with them, hopefully next years passengers will benefit from our experience and espirit will start chartering an airline that relfects the price their customers pay!
  • I can totally understand your frustration- it IS a once in a lifetime trip - even if you did live long enough to go again it isn't the kind of trip you do over and over - you take your kids to meet the 'real' santa once!! Aprt from all the hassle travelling what was the actual experience with Esprit like? i am looking to book with my kids for next Christmas ( I am also a single mum and have been saving all this year and will be saving all next year so i completely understand how absolutely gutted you must have felt). i have narrowed down my choices to Canterbury or Esprit. i am hovering towards Esprit but must admit the travel by Easyjet did worry me somewhat!!
