Hi,
Thinking of moving from Nationwide FlexAccount to take advantage of the CO-OP's free packaged account for a year, but the offer ends on the 15th Jan and I recently moved house so am only being added to the register at the end of next month.
Like any form of credit is electoral roll absolutely essential for bank accounts?

If you're not on the elctoral register at your current address then the likelihood is that you will be asked to provide ID through the post. As part of the process you will asked for your previous address(es).
Unfortunately this is likely to take longer than it would if you had not moved. Best advice is to get your ID documents together ready to send off as soon as your receive the request. You could try calling them to ask what ID they want and ask if you could send it before receiving the request through the post.
Edit
It's possible their website will give you a list of ID required. Then you could send the ID with your application.

Providing you're recorded as being on the electoral roll at your previous address (which you'll be asked for, likely along with any others for the previous 6-or-so years) then this is unlikely to be a problem.Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries0
