Legaility of £100 NCP delayed parking fee at Birmingham airport

We parked on the drop and go car park at Birmingham Airport but released that after 5 minutes we had some how lost our parking ticket. We went immediately to the NCP desk and they said we would have to pay £100 to get out of the car park although we had only been there a short period of time. We knew the exact time we parked and it was obvious that we hadnt been there very long and it was a genuine mistake due to the time of the flight and we had a small baby with us. The T&C's confirm that they can determine how long someone has been there, however they would not reduce the fee from £100. We did not pay the fee but agreed to a non payment declartion which gives us 7 days to pay. How enforceable is this? Although I signed this i left the section, "I acknowledge that i owe NCP the sum of xxx" blank.

Well the invoice is unenforceable, but you have agreed to it so not quite sure where you stand with this, and the ppc may fancy its chances, you best bet is try https://www.pepipoo.com for this, they can advice what you need to do.
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?
  • Agree with Taffy, complex and definitely a job for pepipoo.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
