Comet TV cover.

We purchased a tv from Comet & have the extra insurance cover intill 28.04.11.

Its a 37 inch TV. Its accidently been slightly melted by a candle placed underneath..Is this covered?

When sold the guy told us we should claim just before it runs out as its such a good cover! he even said to drop it!

Can anyone advice?

Thanks

  • Yeah you should be able to, I got the same cover with my TV a few years back. My friend works there so I got a discount, he said just push it off the stand and bring it it, they'll replace it no questions asked, he even offered to help me!.

Probably! I've heard similar things be said about the warranties though and 'damaging' items towards the end... seems pretty common!
