Is this ok? Am I getting too hung up on what to say/what not to say?!!!
PURCHASE OF *********
I am pleased to accept, subject to contract, your offer of ****** It is my intention to purchase 60% share of this property and note that I will be responsible for the additional monthly rent of £140 and £5.20 monthly insurance charge.
I have instructed ***** of ****** solicitors to act as my legal representative and she awaits receipt of the appropriate documentation from yourself regarding this property.
Another anomaly.....I am purchasing 60% = £84k but the HA has stated that the property was last valued at £155k on 17.08.06. I thought the £84k was based on the property being worth £140k?
Have I become a Property Magnate overnight and made a profit of £15k????!!! :rotfl: :rotfl:
Not taking much to confuse me here tonight - a long day at work and a mountain of paperwork to fill in tonight....apparently we should be on w/l for HA local to this property despite being tenants of another HA. This is apparently so our purchase can be "tracked"...?
Solicitors letter needs replying to and funds added for searches. She is also asking for proof of ID (preventative money laundering etc) - Is it safe to send photocopy of driving licence, NI number & utility bill through the post (registered?)
I spent Sunday shredding old paperwork with a view to moving asap and very mindful of ID theft.
A long evening ahead methinks!
BUT........I'm not moaning!!!! I wanna move!!!! :T :T :T

Awwwww I was hoping someone would help?

Sometimes it'd be nice just to sit back and let someone take over but I've got a bloke who doesn't have a clue what I'm prattling on about!

Do these figures add up? If they reckon that property is worth 155, then maybe they are making out your percentage is less? Do clarify this in your letter
otherwise letter is fine :T
Good luck :j:beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0 -
Thanks Lyn,
Just tired here and after a day of paperwork in the office I didn't relish more on arriving home but if we want this to move asap then the forms have to be done asap! I added the monetary value £84k after the 60% to make this clear.0
