stop/continue script??????

unresponsive script- the script on this page may be busy choce give

continue script or cancel script???

this message comes on my screen every few minutes it doesnt matter which option you choose once pressed it disappears for a few minuts anyway.... i havent a clue what it means can anyone help please????

It usually happens if you go on a webpage with some badly written javascript code. If it's happening even when you don't have any pages open, it could be indicative of some kind of malware or other dodgy software

Download malwarebytes and do a scan of your computer to see if it finds anything

I used to get that a lot on both of my laptops when using Firefox,Facebook & GMail.One or the other would cause these problems for me.Clean installs of Firefox ect didn't help but now I've switched to Opera for my browser,no dramas.
And both machines were/are clear of virus,malware ect.
