i purchased a jacket for my husband before xmas in a large, generally he is a medium, but i got a large to be safe, its a gio goi make. yet when he tried it on it was to tight on the shoulders, so we travelled to the store and tried on the xl it was to small, yet he tried on a different jacket by the same make and the large was to big.
when i bought it they wrote gift on reciept, and i said can i return it, but today they said no and i had to take a gift card out, as all the other jackets are not wind beaters, shower proof etc.
any ideas anyone?

Unless its faulty they dont have to offer anything.
So long as the gift card is to the value you paid its likely to be the best offer you will get.0 -
The shop have done right, its standard to not offer a refund unless faulty, just use the gift card for something else from the shop0

As previously mentioned, your not entitled to a refund unless the item is faulty, you took the risk in guessing the size, you could have just bought a gift card.0
