Vanquis rebuilt my credit...do I now close it?

Hi.Vanquis charge a huge interest rate.But if you pay it off in full every month without fail it will build your credit rating and pay no interest.They also have a first class customer sevices department and an online facility.I intend to cancel mine in Jan 2011.

I would apply for the mainstream credit card first and be accepted as in card and pin in hand before you cancerl the Vanquis. As I would not recommend being without a credit card. As mrtaximan has pointed out if you pay it off in full the interest rate should not matter but my thought is that if ever you are on holiday and you forget, at least you would not be hit with an extortionate rate of interest.0
