I thought it was Taj Mahal at first too but looking at other bits of the picture there are camels and Charlie is a genie with a lamp so is it actually a Middle Eastern country like Iran (Aladdin is a Persian tale apparently) or Iraq rather than India?

It's not india, many palaces around iran/iraq/afghanistan look similar, the camels make it Middle east/or parts of Africa like morocco, tunisia,
