Hi i m looking at getting a camcorder and i m looking at budget of £200 really.
i m looking for some that does pics as well as videos and this will mainly be used for motorracing, go karting, track days and days out and football and cricket and want to know the best ones that will offer me great value for money and top quality pics and videos with decent sound not disorted please!!!

You may be better off buying a camera that shoots video have a look at the Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ45 you might be able to get the 38 a bit cheaper as its the older model but the 45 has a longer zoom. I myself am playing with a Canon Powershot SX30 is but these come in at about £310 after the £40 voucher claim not sure if I will be keeping it yet though ;o))))))0

hi i m looking more into camcorder as it will be fitted securely in my car and kart on the track now and again and already have a camera its just to big and bulky0

Read the articles, but on the Flip for example you just take a frame out of the film so you can just give it a 2sec burst then take a frame out within the supplied software.
What the op wants for £200 will be hard to find, a good quality camcorder that can take decent stills and film at high speed with image stabilisation and without suffering from the "jello" effect looking "grainy" in low light, if you do come across something for £200 I think it will end in disappointment.0 -
