Gold beginnings

Hi all, Im after some advice, from the Gold owners!

I have recently been researching gold, and im interested in investing, not large amounts, infact quite small amounts! I have read and heard lots about Bullionvault.

I am looking at investing, and saving, ie not trading every week, would this be a sound place to buy some gold and let it sit there safe and sound and have it as a growing investment?!

I worry about things crashing and read that its accounts are owned by lloyds but even if bullionvault goes under the money is still safe.

Any advice on your experiences is appreciated

Many thanks

Remember if you cant hold it you dont own it.

If someone else is holding your bullion how do you know for sure that it is really there?

Best to take delivery and get a very good safe for your home. Then there are no ongoing storage costs like with bullionvault and others.
  • I use bullion vault for both my SIPP and personal money. Bought silver and gold (SIPP only).

It's quite good very straight forward - you will need to make the most of your free ounce to get used to the trading board.

Would be happy to be your referrer if you do go ahead :D;)

I liked the look of bullionvault when I was considering buying gold 3 years ago to take advantage of the strong pound.

I didn't buy any in the end though.
