Tower Slow Cooker

I have a Tower slow cooker which we were given as a gift from my mum around 1982/1983, so over 30 years old. It's the type with the high/lo switches and the brown removeable bowl, and is still going strong after 2 children and now 3 grandchildren! I bought a CrockPot in a sale several years ago for when this one gave up the ghost, but the CrockPot remains unused!
Fantastic for popping things in to finish them off when you've used another cooking method, and lovely for soups too.
I know someone who made a chilli in his on New Year's Eve, intending it to be ready when he got back in the wee small hours. He ended up staying out for 2 days and forgot about the chilli until he got home on 2nd January. It was perfect...:D0 -
