Balance transfer panic!

I went ahead an decided to get another CC so i could transfer thebalance from my existing CC to one with a lower rate. I have a Tesco Card and now a new Natwest one.
While filling in teh online application i put the tesco card detials in as teh card i'd like to transfer a balance from, along with a store card at the same time.
Well few weeks later i get my new Natwest card, check online ta its balance and see all payments have gone through. Great!... or so i thought.
I've had to wait 3 weeks until i could get an updated statment for my tesco card, and guess what? I'm over its limit... Thats funny i thought, i'd just transfered tha bulk of teh balance to my natwest card so shouldnt be anywhere near teh limit. Looking at the statment, theres no sign of teh balance transfer going out.
So i've called natwest today to see whats going on. They say the details entered in for teh tecos card dont match my card details, there the last digit thats different. The one i supplied online ends ina 5 while my actual card ends with 8. So i've told them teh correct details and said that i want the balance transfere correctly and obviously they need to get the money recalled from who evers account they've paid my money into. Thing is, its now put me over teh tescos limit, and i'm not even sure they can sort this out anyway.....
Is there anything else i can do? They say its my fault as it was done online so i must have entered the wrong number, but surley they can still retrieve the money as i'm saying its wrong? I'm now in a state of panic as i have 2 cc's that are at thier limit instead of 1!

If it was done online and you entered the wrong number I'm afraid you are on your own.
If the number is not a valid card number it will eventually bounce back to our card if not then unless the recipient refunds or queries it you could find it a very expensive mistake indeed!0 -
Check out this thread, is the balance mistransferred/incorectly accredited the same?
