Electrics survey

Does anyone know if it is still going to law next year for a person selling the house to have the electrics survey completed to show the electrics are safe? Or is this no longer the case?

I can only think you're talking about the HIPS pack, supposedly being introduced. The survey element of the pack has definately been withdrawn, so I don't think this will be law.
I haven't heard anything about a seperate electrical survey being made law. If it is, I haven't heard (and I should have done, TBH)Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
