Which Webcam?

I need to get a decent webcam mainly for use in communicating with friends and family overseas, and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas?

I'm not looking for anything flashy, just a good cheap cam that won't pixalate me or turn my voice into some horror monster's voice! :rotfl:

I saw that the Dixons Group has reduced it's Advent 1.3 Webcam to £29.99 across it's stores (Currys, Dixons, PC World etc). I know it's not a logitech, but does anyone have one, and is it any good?

In my experience any webcam does the same job. Get the cheapest one you can find. Or google webcam & review.

eye toy works as a good webcam i got one for £3 at a boot sale, need to google the software.

Aldi are doing an excellent 1.3 for £15.
They have this in from time to time & usually have weekly offers still available until they sell out.

Was in a Woolworths in N.I. on Saturday past, and they had a webcam for £5. Obviously not going to be as good as a tv camera quality wise, and I don't remember seeing a mic, but should do what you're looking for.
