    Today I have -

Done my daily clicks. Made £702 in 2010 which is really pleasing. Going for £600 in 2011.
Got screened out of a survey.
Took dog on a long walk and found 2 x 5p in the slush. Melting snow is ace for finding loose change :D
Checked bank - no sign yet of some click and survey money I cashed in before Christmas.

    Still to do -

Go to Poundworld and get next years cards & wrapping paper half price.
Mooch around the Asda clothing for any work clothes in the sales but won't be spending a lot.
Stay in tonight munching Christmas chocs and bics :)

Hope everybody's having a nice Christmas break.

    Hi everyone,

I too, am loving being off work! But instead of shopping today I need to get on & tidy up this house, it's such a tip & I want to make good use of my time off by well & truly sorting things out, including unpacking the boxes "dumped" upstairs when we moved 6 months ago....lol.

    So today I have/will:-

    • [STRIKE]Brekkie/lunch (I had a nice long lie in today :D) using up eggs & a bit of bread[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Finish 2011's bills diary & calendar[/STRIKE] No quite finished but nearly done at least
    • Finish up organising the accounts paperwork
    • Find items to ebay
    • Keep reading through "losing lbs whilst saving £££'s" thread
    • [STRIKE]Enter comps[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Check for surveys[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Tidy up - lots!!![/STRIKE] Not finished but made a real dent in the top room :D
    • [STRIKE]Hang washing up as I didn't get round to this yesterday, oopsie[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]More washing on eco setting[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Washing up[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Spend at least 10mins going over my tkd terminology[/STRIKE] - need to pass first time not shell out twice
    • [STRIKE]Try to finish 101 list bearing in mind it needs to be fairly MSE![/STRIKE] Shall review tomorrow with fresh eyes & change if necessary, but I think I'm done! Just need to site to be up & running now
    • [STRIKE]Dinner using up leftover roast chicken (using my new cookbook) - didn't do this yesterday :o but we did use up some tortellini that needed using up soon so not too bad[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Put up curtain poles[/STRIKE] Bedroom done, lounge to do soon
    • [STRIKE]Put up curtains bought in sales - should help keep heat in[/STRIKE] Again bedroom done, but lounge still to do
    • [STRIKE]Take out recycling[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Quick shower[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Let hair dry naturally[/STRIKE]
    • Put together a regift box
    • Put things bought in sales for birthdays/xmas into storage
Think that's it for now, going to get a move on with this so hope you all have a great, moneysaving day x

I never ever know what to do with the giblets, but the frugalister in me wants not to throw them away :rotfl:

    /QUOTE]

The dogs love them, but you have to cook them first (in water, and use the resulting stock for making the gravy to go with your roast :D), make sure to remove any bones (like the ones in the neck) and cut it up quite small. I guess larger pieces would do for bigger dogs, but mine are tinies. My old cat used to love it as well - good Christmas dinner for pets, and no smelly mess in the bin :D.

No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!

    Update:

I currently budget £20 per month for my PAYG mobile - I have looked on the web and found that I get 100 mins and 500 texts per month for £10.21.

I clicked through Quidco (£30 cashback), picked a phone, paid delivery and it should be arriving on Thursday.

So, £30 has tracked, I reduce my outgoings by £9 per month and the new phone will be going on an auction site once I have unlocked it. I am hoping to get at least £100 for it.

I also have gained £30 discount off a new mobile as part of my PAYG tarrif (V!rgin have a red discount thingamy). Might buy a phone, unlock it and auction it off - or offer the phone to my mum.

Hubby is due an upgrade next month, and I will be having his phone (to keep rather than auction it).

I am really determined to make a dent in my debts in 2011.
