UKPC Parking "fine" at Merry Hill today

*looks into crystal ball at UKPC's response to your appeal, "after careful consideration we have decided to reject your appeal, the random figure we are trying to charge you has just doubled".
Ignore it as you have done nothing wrong, however as you have contacted them you might get a few extra begging letters. Total loss to the landowner is zero, total gain is whatever you spent.0 -

Ignore them from now on. They are chances! Their appeals system is a total sham.
The landlords at Merryhill must be suckin fupid! This company must be doing them considerable damage.0 -

Dunno why you wrote and emailed. I struggle to understand why people believe a private firm can fine them just because they print something that looks official and put it in a yellow envelope.
Ignore it. Stop writing, stop replying, forget about it. It is easy when you know it's a scam.
The registered keeper must ignore all the usual debt collector letters which will follow, nothing happens beyond the letters, it is just a generic scam hoping that some mugs will pay. Don't be a mug!
The 'scary debt collector letters' are shown in pretty pics in our sticky thread 'PPC letters, what to expect'. Just click on the blue link at the top of the page now 'parking fines, tickets & parking' (under the orange BANKING SAVING tab) which will give you a view of the whole baord. You will see the sticky threads at the top and tons of other cases like yours, all ignoring this rubbish!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Do not contact them any further. You have done nothing more than required of you by their own so called "Terms and Conditions".
This is a typical sample of UKPC's signs at Merryhill:
It very clearly states : "Disabled Badge Holders Only In Disabled Bays" - which is all that you did.
UKPC have no case and have had some very bad experiences at court in recent months. It will take sometime for them to recover from the mauling they've had so far and there are some more for them to come they can't escape right now so the chance of a court case is negligible IMO.My very sincere apologies for those hoping to request off-board assistance but I am now so inundated with requests that in order to do justice to those "already in the system" I am no longer accepting PM's and am unlikely to do so for the foreseeable future (August 2016).
For those seeking more detailed advice and guidance regarding small claims cases arising from private parking issues I recommend that you visit the Private Parking forum on PePiPoo.com0 -
Just want to say thanks to all who have replied to my notice i will not be paying, so will just wait for next step will let you all know how it goes thnks.0

A strong complaint I hope? Not an appeal for help?
The point of contacting Merry Hill would be to tell them in no uncertain terms that allowing these parasites on their land is likely to lose them business, yours included. Now you have got that rubbish standard rejection form the PPC (which was obviously coming) tell Merry Hill how ANGRY you are. Tell them you will think twice before visiting them ever again and will NOT be paying this fake PCN nor entering into any further correspondence about it. Say you'll be telling all your friends about this. Do Merry Hill realise the unenforceability of these fake fines and the threats which are sent out to their customers? Be a thorn in their side and tell Merry Hill Managers what is happening in their name!
Strong complaints are the way to get these scumbags kicked out of retail sites where they are a threat to paying customers and a threat to long term business for the retailers.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hey Joe, one of our victims has sent in an appeal.
An appeal? That's a laugh, lets see what he says.
Within lines--Ha Ha -rejected.
Paid ticket---Ho Ho -rejected.
Blue badge in disabled bay but wrong way round--Who cares- rejected.
Send them the usual letter but be generous with the discount, they'll probably pay.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0 -
The monkey at the appeals desk has got given a promotion to Manager.
Congrats must be in order....
...Not0 -
Appeals manager had carefully considered the case. Reverts too = WE GOT AS FAR AS READING DEAR SIR OR MADAM THEN DECIDED APPEAL UNSUCCESSFUL!
Merryhill probably wont respond to an email, I would write a strong complaint and print off your email and send that too, saying you are disappointed in their response!
I had the same problem with Welcome break no answer to emails, they soon cuckin answered when I sent them the letter before action!0
