Possible Scam Advice Please

Hello,

I'm selling a phone on ebay, and am looking not to be scammed as I've read so much about it.

When I listed the item I specifically advised I would only ship to the UK and would only accept bids from those with 10+ feedback.
I have also stated that I will only accept payment via Paypal.

However, I've already had numerous bids from people with 0 feedback.
I've also had an e-mail from someone supposedly in Russia who would like to buy the phone.
Now obviously I know this is a scam and am in no way taken in by it.

However, my questions are as follows :

1) What can I do about these 0 feedback buyers bidding on my item (even though I've advised I won't accept them) ?
I'm very concerned that one of these will outbid a genuine bidder.

Can I simply remove their bid ?
If so, is there a limit to the number of times this can be done ?

2) Assuming someone pays me via paypal (and the money actually appears in my account). How can I guarantee that they won't simply 'chargerback' the money at a later date ?

Apologies if I'm being paranoid, but I was recently scammed on something I bought, so I'm very careful these days.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
J.

when i sell a high value item i only accept bank transfer ,put it on as a buy it now and set the auction to pre approved bidders only.never had a problem selling and you can vet anyone before they attempt to buy.

There's some good advice about setting your buyer requirements here.

You can't stop 0 feedback bidders. You can choose to cancel their bids, but remember you could be shooting yourself in the foot - they might be genuine.

There is some good info here about protecting yourself when accepting paypal:

    Hi Jonny,
I've been selling on ebay for a few years. Negative or low feedback buyers caused me problem until I was honest and now put that any buyer with less than 10 feedback must contact first before bidding otherwise I'll cancel their bid. I explain why. You may lose the odd genuine buyer but it pretty much gets rid of scammers and people bidding with low feedback and not intending to purchase.
