Electricity Cost
Options
I had a boiler change in the summer and now find that with Scottish Hydroelectric and an economy10 meter I am using between eleven and sixteen pounds of energy per day. I live in a small, modern, two bedroom flat on my own and because of cost am only using a total of three radiators. I am at my wits end, does anybody have any idea what can be happening? Is there such a thing as an independent tradesman who specialises in checking all electric systems - plumber says nothing wrong. I have spent time on the telephone with a very helpful man at energywatch who says something is not right but how can I proceed to prove it?

1st thought is why have a C/H boiler and economy10 metering - economy10 is really only for peeps with electric storage heaters otherwise the tariffs are pants.
Did you get a combi boiler installed and how are you getting H/W - from the boiler or immersion heater?0 -
Are you saying you have a wet, electric central heating system? i.e Electric boiler and water filled radiators? That gum you like is coming back in style.0
