Does anyone know of any large markets in south wales please

Indoor or outdoor? Do you mean like Cardiff Market or Swansea Market (indoor), or Clydach or Rheola Market (outdoor)?? My personal fave is Carmarthen indoor market because they have a WI stall that does top notch iced fairy cakes!!

Hi!

There is Splott Market. It's featured in previous posts on here, so you may have seen it already. It's part indoor and part outdoor, on Lewis Road in Splott, just off magic roundabout.

The full market takes place on Sunday morning, and one day during the week (Weds I think, but I might be wrong!) and has clothes, groceries, diy stuff and all sorts!

On a Saturday there is a smaller market and a car boot sale in the outside bit (I went last week and there were still a number of car booters, but definitely going into decline for the winter now!).

visited the cardiff market today,very disappointng I must say ,will try the others though thank you

Cardiff indoor market - in the middle of town? Sorry you didn't find it useful! What were you looking for? If you're looking for something specific, perhaps we can suggest something else! Where are you based?

There is always Riverside Farmers Market in Cardiff..just over the river from Millenium Stadium

Lot of farmers stalls...but not necesarily cheap and is quite a small market. I like it because you know where stuff is coming from and is (relatively) local!
