Hi all,
Could anyone tell me when holidays for Janurary 2012 will be available for booking. We are looking at long haul.

They're on sale now if its a package nov11 to apr12. If its scheduled flights you want then generally its 11 months from your date of return, so probably feb 11 onwards.0

Most tour operators will have their programmes on sale now covering the travel period up to April 2012.0

If you want to book Maldives for 2012 you can look at First Choice/Thomson and maybe even Hayes & Jarvis as they are all part of TUI.
Otherwise Kuoni/H&J wont be booking 2012 until well into the New Year.
I used Marks Travel who are an agent for Kuoni as I did a Maldives tailor made. It also appears that TUI group aren't doing mid week Maldives flights even during peak season for 2012 - this means you either have to do 7 or 14 nights. If you wanted anything inbetween then you are best of sticking with Kuoni/H&J as you will be able to book Sri Lankan/Emirates/BA etc.
If you need any help at all with picking out an island feel free to drop me a message or pop over the Maldives forum on the trip advisor site. I've spent hours reading reviews and looking at pictures, good job I get to go next May :rotfl:
