Hi,
I got an ipod touch 8gb for xmas and an itunes voucher, my computer isn't working at the moment, so i'm trying to purchase songs online through my ipod. I click on 'buy' and it seems to download the song, but then when i look on itunes app to see if the songs are there, there is nothing!?
But then if i go to purchase the song again it says 'already purchased'
Its driving me MAD, any ideas anyone please.. all i want to do is buy a song and listen to it!!

do you mean look in the ipod app? the itunes app is just the shop, the ipod app is where you listen to the music.
but in true MSE spirit I would say use the voucher to buy 'apps/games' you want and then use something like amazon mp3 to buy music.0 -
on the left hand side of the itunes there is a long menu list and one of those says "downloads" click on this and everything you have downloaded will be in there

no you have to use a computer but it does add it right into itunes for you making it dead easy to sync, I know you said your computer isn't working at the moment but you will save a lot of money over time (a lot of amazon songs are only 29p compared to itunes minimum of 59p meaning you get to buy double the music for the same money)0 -
When you've purchased tunes with your ipod it will appear in the music library or you can find it on the "purchased on ipod" play list. You could also search for it by pressing the round button from the home screen. When you sync your ipod with your computer the purchased tunes will also appear on your computers itunes library.
Re amazon - not sure if you can do it directly from the ipod but you can certainly do it from your computer and transfer it to the ipod.0 -

Thank you for answering, could you tell me where i can find 'purchased on ipod' play list on my ipod please?
I've looked in the music library and it says 'no content':mad:0 -
You should be able to see it in the music library - are you sure it has downloaded properly? Also, you should be able to get to a list of playlists from the music player. Just a thought though - if your computer isn't working then how did you register the ipod and link it to your account?0

can anyone tell me how i check to see how much i've spent downloading songs?0
