when do I get my £15?
Any UKPower-energy-supplier-website-matching-thingy users out there? This one's for you!
I moved house a couple of months ago and switched suppliers immediately using the UKPower link from one of Martin's articles offering £15. After a few weeks, the new supplier has now taken both gas and electricity so I as far as I am concerned, I should get the promised reward!
question: how long should it take UKPower to pay me, and how will it come? I mean, I had to give bank details for the switch so will they pay it straight in like that, or will it come as a cheque in the mail?

If you followed the link from the Moneysaving Expert website you should have received an email explaining how to claim your cash back.
If you didn’t receive this email then to claim this amount, please send us an email when you receive notification from your new supplier that you are now being supplied by them. Tell us your new supplier account reference number and the date of commencement of supply. Once they have confirmed this to us, which is usually by the end of the next month after your supply has gone live.
This is normally 2-3 months from the date of your application with us.0 -
Thanks for your reply.
I did follow the link but the only emails I've had are from NPowerApps(AT)ukpower.co.uk on the day I switched explaining the next steps, and then a few days later after the September nPower price hike confirming that Sign Online Version 6 will not be affected. (I also got another email from Admin(AT)ukpower.co.uk saying the same thing).
Yesterday I received a confirmation of electricity transfer from nPower and I am still waiting for the gas confirmation (even though the switch date has passed) so presumably I'll need to wait for that to arrive before sending you the email. The two commencement dates are different but I don't suppose that matters (?)
Thanks again.0 -
I did my electric (from Powergen to Scottish Power) via SimplySwitch the other day, using the link from MSE. I expected some kind of automated e-mail from them saying that I'd used their service but I've only received a confirmation & explanation of the steps being taken from Scottish Power. It does say that the cashback (£15) is usually paid within 60 days direct or by mail, depending on the payment method chosen for billing.0
