I'm not really sure what we're having this week (it depends on how DH is feeling) but I want it to look something like this:
Monday - Chicken, bacon & tomato pasta bake - didn't happen
Tuesday - Tomato soup with croutons and a bread roll - will be enchiladas instead
Wednesday - Stir fry with noodles
Thursday - Toad in the hole with baked beans
Friday - Chicken Enchiladas (from a packet) - Will probably be soup
Saturday - Not sure - I don't know what's happening food-wise for New Year's Eve
Sunday - Lasagne, with a good 4 portions to freeze for another time.
There's plenty of Christmas food leftover for lunches, as well as some chocolate biscuits and cake for snacks and puddings. We were originally going to be cooking for all the family, but as DH has 'flu we couldn't and so have a fair bit to use up.Have a good week, everyone.

I'm still on an empty the freezers mission so once again my meals are not a 'typical' weeks meals. There is also the added fact that I may not be eating at home every evening (DS nursery is closed over the hols so my Dad will be looking after him for 2 days and they MAY offer to feed me those evenings - if this is the case then the meals planned for that evening will just be moved into next weeks mealplan). So the FINAL MEALPLAN OF THE YEAR  will look something like this.................
MONDAY
Lunch - at mum and dads
Dinner - at mum and dads
TUESDAY
Lunch - HM donner kebab
Dinner - (at work) HM soup and filled roll
WEDNESDAY
Lunch - (at work) Ham salad wrap

I need to get back into this big-style - posting on here every week will keep me to it...one of my New Year Resolutions...:p
Anyway, using up things in the freezer so not a typical week's food and not got the boys many nights as they are at their dads for a couple of days (the floor is a mess with recipe books etc so I'm just lounging...!!)
Tues - Chicken Kiev and jacket potato
Wed - Salmon and cous cous
Thur - Pizza, garlic bread and potato wedges
Fri - Steak pie and chips
Sat - Venison casserole
Sun - Burgers with potato wedges, coleslaw and salad
Shpould give me a fair old bit of space in the freezer then...:oAnywhere is within walking distance - if you have the time!!0
