Someone was trying to open the door

In the good ol USA you could have shot her on the spot! Fortunately, over here we have different rules. You have to stand by while your house is ransacked and robbed as the police are 'too busy'. If you manage to eventually come out of the coma (from the resulting attack) you are told by the CPS and plod that there's nothing really they can do!Light blue touchpaper and stand well back !0

We lived at a place where the guy in the flat next to us would come home at 2am completely out of his head and start banging on the communal door and ring all the doorbells. This happened once every 2 weeks, just after he got his benefit money. The first time we just ignored him. The next time we called out the police, and this became a regular event. Before anyone makes out that this was a little extreme, after the first time this happened we found out that he had threatened one of our neighbours in the block - a single woman in her early 20's. After this guy moved out, the cleaners who came to sort out the flat found a stash of drugs hidden between the top of the fridge and the worktop so maybe this guy was a little more than just drunk.0
