I'd be interested in finding a Spanish beginners course that would lead to a qualification.
While I search for one - and save the money for the £110 a term fee at my local college - I'm using https://www.studyspanish.com I'm finding it really helpful.Live as if your were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever - Mahatma Gandhi0 -
I use EleMadrid for free monthly elementary Spanish lessons. Further courses can be paid for.

On the following website you can follow a course which is all about Neuro Linguistic programming. Basically the principal is that subconsiously you can influence things that happen in your life, a bit what Paul McKenna does. If only you would follow this course to learn how to relax and meditate it would have great benefits for you! I followed the extended version and paid about £700 for it at the time. They now have a free online version and it is really interesting to do. If you can do it with a friend it is even more fun, you'll be amazed at the results!! See what you think (but try to have an open mind!!)

Just saw Free Academic Podcasts
(See also the comments on the Digg post about this - where a few more other podcasts are mentioned)
Not courses you can sign up for though - it's the podcasts offered by Uni's to their students - so you could follow along if you wanted.
As it says, the easiest way is to download Itunes and subscribe
(You could also subscribe to MSE's podcast - see here)0 -

Dear All,
Just to clarify, you don't have to be taking part in a Great Run event to take part in the Great 2 Run course.
Great 2 Run is a partner organisation of Great Run events and offers information and guidance on preparing for running events in a safe and effective way.
The course is currently free of charge, and we have limited places available on a first come first served basis. It is studied via distance learning, you are provided with all your learning materials on a DVD which includes your 20 week training programme. Support on the course is offered via our partner College, Newcastle College.
To enrol, visit https://www.great2run.org
Kind regards,

does anybody knowany free or cheap courses of IT or Office(MS office, customer serivice, and other skills) courses, please do tell

Learndirect has on offer many free courses but for some of them you need to meet the criteria
For Basic Skills ( Literacy and Numeracy to Level 2, GCSE A,B,C). These courses are free as long as you do not already have an A,B,C in Math and English.
IT courses are only free if you are on benefits AND are pre- level 2 ( 4 or less gcse's). Some learndirect centres put aside some of their budget for people who will do the IT courses in order to gain a qualifaction, so even if u have a higher than Level 2 qual, u may be able to do it for free.
Level 1 = less than 4 GCSE PASSES
Level 2 = 5 or more GCSE PASSES, OR 1 A LEVEL OR NVQ LEVEL 2, HNC
Level 3 = HND, Degree
I can't remeber any others as after level 2 the list grows, when I get back into my office I'll update this. I'll also update for customer services and other courses.
Hope it helps0
