Hi,
I hope someone can help,
Ive ask Barclays to paid back my PPI due to I believe that it was miss-sold.
I got a letter back the other day say the following
"Having reviewed your complaint we can confirm that we are unable to provide a final response to your complaint at the moment and would like to explain why is so and implications of this for you"
it goes on to say,
"In August 2010, the FSA published new requirement concerning the way in which the industry should handle customer complaints about the sale of PPI policies. The BBA (the main trade association for UK banks) believes that these requirements go beyond the rules and requirements in force at the time of the sales. Accordingly, the BBA has sought clarification from the court on that and on a related point concerning complaint handling by the FOS.”
I was told that they must give me an anwser either way within 8 weeks?
If anyone can help i'll be greatful
Kind Regards

Hi there & welcome
Try not to worry at this point, many are in the same situation, it may help to read other threads on this site or maybe on the FSA website to give you more of an idea.
