Invisilign is a very limited and expensive system. Lab bills have gone up by over 150 per cent recently. Conventional fixed train track produce more controlled results with finer control. You should have a uk dentist by now for hygiene visits so ask who they refer to or phone local practices and ask who they refer to. Teeth have to be in good condition and gums and cleaning excellent for brace work.0

Also he your daughter had braces why not see her orthodontist? Unless they work only in hospital all orthodontists will see adult private patients. But you really must get your routine care sorted as well.0

They have decided that before I get any other treatment (the crowns etc) I must get my bite corrected at home and have a brace. The implantologist here said that I might not even need an implant because the gap might close depending on the treatment and that it was pointless to replace the top root canal because the orthodontist might choose that poorly molar to remove in order to make space. I've been told that getting my crowns done without correcting my underlying problem would only ensure I have problems all over again in ten years or so

So - my question is - how on earth do I find a GOOD orthodontist? I don't care if I wear train tracks again as I'm not vain, but do your teeth need to be in reasonably good condition to support them? Everywhere I've spoken to seems very keen on this Invisalign but trying to find independent information about it from somewhere that isn't trying to sell it to me, is quite hard.
My front teeth aren't hugely crooked - they just don't meet when I bite.
Sorry if you think I am being rude but do you mind if I ask how much you paid for fillings and the root filling?0
