hello, any advise much appreciated - my sister was born in uk but is now a permanent resident in france. as visits to the uk become more required due to elderly parents i think it may be a good thing to add her as a second driver to my car ins to save her hiring a car when she flies over etc. she has a clean licence etc and it's from the uk but will i be charged a huge amount to do it?

Go through some online dummy quotes, answer all the questions honestly and see what difference adding her makes.
I suspect you’ll find adding her halfway through a policy will cost ££ more than adding her at renewal, halfway through they can charge what they like (plus an admin fee). At renewal they’ll be keen to get your business0
