DLNA Server Probs

Greetings one and all

I have an issue here which I am totally perplexed about. In our humble abode we have two computers both of them running Windows 7 Home Premium both 2 gigs of ram both of them running through Belkin wireless N router

On my computer I am running Twonky Media server and i am able to stream my music and vids to a Samsung Series 6 DLNA enabled tv which I am doing via a wired connection. On my partners computer I have installed Twonky and everything seems to be set up correctly but it cannot see the computer or any of the shared files.

Q1 Is this this limitation of the Samsung television that it only accepts one DLNA server on the network
Q2 is there a setting I should be using in the router to enable more than one server

I am reasonably technically minded so any instructions it doesn't matter if they are technical.

I appreciate that we have one server working but please appreciate that I do lose a certain amount of street cred when my mates come round and see stuff like dirty dancing and other hideously pants chick flicks on my computer. And my girlfriend would prefer to be able to do stuff from her computer because it's easier for her to use because it's her computer.

TIA Peeps

I don't think there is anything to change on your router - there's no reason why it should be stopping DLNA traffic, provided both the PCs are on the same LAN subnet.

It's more likely that her PC is configured with uPnP turned off or firewalled. Have you checked in Network and Sharing that Network Discovery (a.k.a. uPnP) is turned on?

Samsung's DLNA implementation is pants (official technical term). You might want to install the latest firmware, which is downloadable from Samsung's website and easy to install from a blank USB stick, but I doubt it will improve things much. Alternatively you should invest in a 1080p network media player e.g. http://www.reghardware.com/2010/12/17/2010_best_media_boxes/

Will root around in her pc to see if there is something i have missed. I also tried getting it working with no firewall or av running still no joy
Will now have to start looking at running services
Failing that. Format C:\ ???? lol
