Problems with Entropay

A couple of weeks ago, I telephoned Next flower delivery service to order a bunch of flowers to be sent to our daughter in Peterborough. During the process, the girl at the other end remarked that she had a computer problem and the order had not been completed. I said I would phone back later to confirm that all was in order. In the meantime, I had a look at my Entropay virtual debit card and saw that £32 had been debited, awaiting confirmation. When I rang Next again, they said that the order had not been completed and could I pay again? I refused, explaining that my card now showed a suspended amount of £32.
Next have now told me that my card company, Entropay, should have re-credited my account within 3-4 days of the failed transaction. The people running Entropay’s help desk are saying that it will take 20-30 days. This sounds ridiculous. They are not very helpful when I contact them, repeating the same answers, parrot-fashion. As far as they are concerned, the problem has been resolved. For my part, I still don’t know where my money is, except that it is in suspense.
Any suggestions, anyone? In particular, an alternative to Entropay.
Thanks in advance.

Entropay are a really bad idea. I used them to book a couple of tickets and thought to put a little bit on the card for next time. 6 months later I went to book a ticket but could not logon. The accounts go dormaint after 6 months. Then if you want to use you have to reactivate. I tried and it did not work. I did not really understand it was deactivated as it was not clear. I was in a hurry so bought my flights with my normal visa. Now 12 monts later they close the account. You don't get any warnings and when they close the account THEY KEEP YOUR MONEY!

    This is their clause
"5.5If there has not been a transaction (for the avoidance of doubt a load, withdrawal or spend from one of the Card(s) on the EntroPay Account for 12 months or more, then the Service Provider may close the EntroPay Account without notifying the User at any time and terminate this Agreement in accordance with Clause 12.4. In such a scenario any Funds on the EntroPay Account will become the property of the Service Provider."
