How can we buy my girlfriends council house?

Hi everyone, i have a repayment mortgage on a flat which i'm going to be renting to tenants from my local authority. I will be moving in with my girlfriend who qualifies to get the full RTB discount, she does not work at the moment. Is it possible for us to buy the place jointly.

Your girlfriend can buy it, but you have to live in it for a while in order to be able to purchase jointly. It is usually a year but you should obviously ask your local council.
