Annuals £1.00 at Sainsburys

I ordered 4 online a few days ago and just got an email saying all 4 are OOS. I doubt very much they;ll be getting more 2011 annuals in stock:mad:

Same e-mail for my Dr Who annual. Can't see they'll be getting it back into stock. Might have to pay £1.99 in WHSmith (Sainsbury's are too far out of my way).

Same thing happened last time with WH Smith's £1 annual sale, but most annuals did actually turn up after a delay.

I think they ask the suppliers to get more - and the suppliers see what they can do.

Don't worry if you missed out.....get to read them FREE from the library. Now thats MAX money saving.

No email for me yet (ordered 10 different ones as rewards for spelling tests - much cheaper than a comic and last a lot longer).

Annoying thing is I could have bought them in store this morning for £1.00 each but after checking emails resisted although I plan to call into Sainsburys in the morning and will buy them if they have them and cancel the online order if I can.
